I want/ need to run Ccleaner (as regular maintenance) however, when I run it, it deletes passwords and stuff to websites and in the end I get yelled out because my boyfriend has to enter all the stuff to his bank's website over and over. (He would rather just be able to get right on it to do bills). What do I have to uncheck so that when I run it, it will leave the password information alone and just delete the other stuff. I tried explaining to him that it is better if he entered it each time, but he doesn't think so. Thanks for your answers in advance!

Here's how to set exclusions to CCleaner's cleaner tool:

    1. Launch CCleaner
    2. Hit ALT+O (or click the 'Options' button)
    3. Press the 'Cookies' button
    4. Click the cookies you want to keep, and press the '->' button to add them to the exclusion list

Now ccleaner should keep the username and password for the sites you've selected.

btw, you're absolutely right that it is better to enter every time, but this is mostly to prevent other users from logging onto his user account, and then into his websites, so if that risk isn't present, then saving the password isn't so bad.

We use the same user account to get onto the computer, he gets on it only to balance his checkbook and sometimes get on ebay. Other than that he doesn't use the computer. But I get yelled at every time I go and delete his passwords running one of the cleaners! :D Thanks for your help!

I agree. Fact is, many financial websites will NOT allow passwords to be saved by using the option to save passwords in your web browser. They override that option, so the user simply doesn't have the choice.
