Sorry for so many questions regarding this program, however, been doing some research and found that some who have run the clean function then find that there Macromedia Flash Player did not run. Had to download it again everytime they did a clean. One person had trouble getting it to run even though they downloaded it again. Anyone here run the clean function and found this to be a problem. Below is the entry that CCleaner has selected to delete when I run the scan, before cleaning.

    C:\Documents and Settings\Kirk Mango\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\macromedia.com\support\flashplayer\sys\settings.sol 300 bytes

Is it ok to delete this????

Also, have items that have extensions like .LNK, index.Dat, .ini, .BAK, some .htm files, a def.refs.old file from adaware, some .txt files, log files (even some from windows hot fix's, and .gif files. Now, all of these can be deleted without any trouble????? I mean some of these files have the names of actual files I have saved and want on my computer. Are these the files it has identified or a recording that I had accessed the file at one time?? For example, the below is a template file I created for a Microsoft Word template that I called Backup1 and put in a hidden folder in case the original located in Word templates gets messed up. If it did all I would need to do is delete the original and then copy the backup to the template folder. Here is the file CCleaner found in the scan:

    Data\Microsoft\Office\Recent\Oak Hill Letterhead Template Backup1.LNK 1.34KB

So is this the actual file I created that CCleaner is about to be delete or something else safe to get ride of. There are many other files similar to this that CCleaner has targeted. Same question, are they the actual files I created that CC will delete??? Very confused?

    Thanks for your support.
