Ccleaner Version 7

Is it only or are the download links trying to download version 6.39 and not the latest version. Also, when I go on to the Piriform site there does not seem to be any offline installers any more, only ccsetup_online_setup.exe which is not very friendly for people/businesses needing to update numerous PCs especially those that are not necessarily online all the time.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Thank you for your response, but that thread seems to be about problems using version 7, whereas my question is about MG links not downloading version 7 and the lack of an obvious offline installer on the Piriform website.

Well, that's annoying, as some of my customers do not allow multiple online updates and with Piriform saying that old versions quickly become out of date that I am going to have to recommend some other tool.

This all seems anti-customer to me and with the ongoing discussions about version 7's foibles it does seem that they have shot themselves in the foot(feet?) with this release.

Will have to see what happens.

Download the slim build on the builds page. That's the v7 offline installer.

Backup your version 6 before installing as 7 is pretty awful.

 

Unfortunately the MG download links for the Standard & Slim versions also download the 6.39 version, so now I am thoroughly confused!

I go and have a look at the Slim version from the builds page & I would always backup before updating.
