Is there anything to keep me from using common burning software to put CD audio on a DVD for playback in a DVD player? I have access to a PC with Windows XP Media Center. I want to be able to create audio DVDs with 300 or 400 minutes of music to be played through a DVD player. The DVD player in question will play music from commercial CDs and CD-Rs. If special software is needed, does anyone have recommendations? Has anyone had such experiance, and do you recommend it for making an extended play music disk?

    Thanks Geeks!

Should I have posted this question in another section?

Do I need to provide more information?

    toehead410,

Just ran a try and found out 2 things.

    1. From Windows Media Player it did not work at all.
    2. From Nero 6 I could burn a DVD full of MP3 and play it in my DVD through my TV and get sound. I could also play it in my computer, but my radio in the car won't play MP3 so could not test that.

I do know if you go the MP3 DVD route you can put a lot of music on a DVD.

    Hope this helps,
