cd disk won't open

After viewing a cd half full of photos in picasa 3, I closed the cd and now the files won't open. I go to my computer / cd/dvd drive and it shows that disk has 300 mb of space used. I have made a copy of the disk with nero and I get the same results. Nothing shows. Made the photo disk on an XP home.
I have tried the disk on my other three computers with the same results. Can
anyone help. I thought I was doing the right thing by putting all my photos on
disk. I have three other disks full of photos and they work fine. :cry Rodwell

Get Micro Tools Power Data Recovery (free for home use) and do a scan.

CD/DVD Recovery - Recover scratched CD disk, Recover formatted DVD disk

 

Try ISObuster it may work. Is the CD clean? I always back up my stuff to two different places but I fear when you closed it something went wrong.

 

I opened up the photo files with isoBuster but know they want $30 for a code to view them. Thank you for your help. Rodwell

 

There might be a free one but I haven't found one yet. You can see how expensive they can get.:eek
