Cd drive identity

Is there a way to identify which cd drive burned a copy of the original CD?

Not really, I have a cd full of photos and I need to know on which PC this cd was copied. Any idea what to look for and how?

 

Well in the information on the CD (Depends on what burning software was used.) but if it was just saved as files, it would have the metadata of the file, such as the Owner of the File, along with time stamps, and other good things. So, if you can determine from the NTFS permissions of the files using the metadata you can determine the computer in which it came from.

Right click onto one of the files, and go to Properties, and tell me what you have.

Yeah, the metadata/metafiles that i'm talking about would be some of the information linked in the details tab, but also, I do believe that you may be able to find more information about that file if you had a specific data reader. But, as far as that goes, I would not be able to determine where that came from, in my opinion, as far as drive identity goes.
