if i am putting music from my computer onto a cd, to liston to in a regulair cd player. does it matter what format the file is mp3 .wav or whatever. ? if so what is the best?
further more, does it mater what program i use to burn music onto a cd? is one program going to put music on at a higher quality than the others?

Ok. depending on the abilities of your CD player it may or may not be able to play MP3s, but any one will plat a .wav.
I personaly use Ahead's Nero, and it burns quickyl and has nice options

wav, overall, is best, because it is uncompressed.
