cd rom/dvd drives lost/not recognised by system

    I have a emachines 770 pc with Samsung cd rom and dvd drives, but the only drives listed are C & A. When trying to burn a cd the message in Real player is an unlocated cd burner. Can anyone help?

    Is it the case that I have to reinstall and if so how?
