CD-ROM Problem

My cd-rom doesn't seem to auto run anything anymore, i have to click on my computer and go into the cd-rom drive and and click on the program to get it to run. I have a CD-LG-CDRWDVD48
LG 48x24x48x CDRW/16x DVD COMBO DRIVE

Heres the rest of my computer specs:

have you installed any virtual drives rescently?

 

service pack 2 automaticly disables autorun, could be that.

 

So -- can you "enable" autorun? If so, can you give me the step-by-step instructions?

 

I've got XP service pack 2 and I'm having this problem also. Under "my computer" it doesn't list my cd-rom drives anymore either, only my hard disks, floppy, and account files. Does anyone know how to enable the autorun, or run CD's from the "run" program? Any help is appreciated.

My Computer, right click on your CDrom drive, click on properties, auto play tab.

 

I'm running windows 2000 I don't have this option.

 

I installed virtual daemon 3.47

Thats the problem i have but i havnt got service pack 2?
