CDR Autorun 98

has anyone seen any software for windows 98 like windows xp autorun menu - that when a cdr/dvdr is inserted and read by windows 98 launches a menu on the desktop where you can select your choise if any of program to run ie-media player picture viewer burner or open cd etc
i know of programs that can be burnt to cdr's which perform this service but are no use if the cdr is already closed in this case one would have to have a cd/dvd shortcut on the desktop and open it (so is there a software verision of a cd desktop shortcut icon for windows 98 )
