CD's won't load

For some reason, my disc drive is no longer working. I haven't used it for several months, but when I finally tried to use in order to install Windows OneCare Antivirus, the disk wouldn't load! So I installed Avast for the time being to have some protection, as well as another malware software.

I'm not sure what it is, but it just won't load. I tried a CD, a music CD, and a DVD.. no luck.

Usually it would pop up automatically, or I'd just go into my comp then click on the CD drive and then it would load. However, when I put the disc in, it doesn't even show the CD Drive. I believe it is normally the E: Drive... here's a screenshot:

So as you can see.. there's no way for me to even try to load the CD.

Any tips?

 

Hmmmm.. I may have found another clue.

I went to system information and then 'Hardware' and under CD-Rom, there's nothing! It's like the whole thing just disappeared or something, unless it's usually blank, lol.

Okay, another thing.

Went to the Device Manager, and notice the yellow exclamation mark on the CD-Rom Area, that can't be good.
