Cell Phone Headset

Does anybody know the point of having a caller id on a headset?

 

Yes, two reasons:
1.) The service provider wants your financial support and will go broke without it.
2.) I think there is a device you can program into your cell service that records it for you.

 

The headset that came with my phone doesn't have caller ID, but the phone itself does (and it costs me not one dime extra for caller ID on my monthly bill).

 

I was thinking about those bluetooth headsets that people wear on their ear. If it's on your ear, how can you look at the caller id? I just think it's kind of useless and was wondering if there was a cool feature that I might be missing out on.

 

well, it would be useful if you kept the bluetooth headset in a vest pocket and didn't wear it in your ear all the time. Some people that have phone/pda combo never even turn on the screen, they just use the headset to answer/screen and make all of their calls.

 

LOL... i hear stuff like that pretty often. i find myself the complete opposite, though, whenever i talk to people on the phone, i stay so quiet (to ensure privacy) that i have to repeat everything i say about ten times. i can't say i used BMW or FERRARI in my conversations, but i have used GREMLIN and PINTO
