   I'm having trouble with opening some of my programs.
   
   The following programs will give me the start up icon when double clicked, but will go no further.
   
   Printshop 22
   Printmaster 12 (This one gives the following error: Connection Manager Component is missing. This component is required for online access. Re-install application to install this component.)
   
   Microsoft Word
   Microsoft Digital Image Pro
   
   
   Any thoughts?

   Hi
   
   What Windows version and Service Pack are you using?
   What version of Word?
   What version of Digital Image Pro?
   
   You have not removed or disabled Internet Explorer have you by any chance as that error for Printmaster does sound familiar to that of one for CreataCard.
   
   Try starting in Safe Mode (F8 at boot) and see if they will open?
   
   Have you scanned for malware?
