Can I change a pc to mac? My buddiea pc is some what obsilete but works, it runs windowa ME, can the software be changed to mac software.

Nope.

A Linux distro may be a better choice for you, I'm not sure which would suit you or the PC though.

Hi

What are the specs of this PC, CPU speed, Ram, Graphics card and HDD space?

What you could try initially is the Live versions of Linux as they run off CD/DVD, just have your PCs Bios set to 1st boot device CDROM then if works ok install it fully, while it likely will work ok, you wont have the application base that Windows has and you cannot install Windows apps or games etc

and as they are ISO files you will need to burn them to cd and this free app is good ImgBurn

I couldnt tell you, its not my pc and and I cant get to it to find out. I told my buddy I need to check evreything out but he wont let me. I'm not worried about it anymore. Thanks alot for the responses.
