Challenged, And Lazy. Help!

So, not only am I cerebrally challenged, but I am also a lazy a$$. These qualities in combination make it difficult to search through the plethora of geek-quality information here and arrive at a solution to my problem.
I recently bought a new AIO (that lazy, I don't want to plug things in) with Win 11. How self-sufficient is Win 11? Does it need supplementary security, maintenance etc programs? If so, could some sympathetic soul suggest a set of programs that would cover the needs of someone who just surfs, watches video and occasionally edits an image? Tks for any responses. OK, I have to go lie down now.

 

Windows' built-in security is probably sufficient for your basic needs, but I'd also look at a decent VPN. As for maintenance software, the free version of Glary Utilities would probably do you just fine.
