I have a GIF file that's too large: it's 318x237 and I'd like to cut these dimensions in half (or more) to 159x118 (or smaller). How?

    Thanks!

    Hi

Just open in MS paint and click Home > Resize (in Win7) and add the dimentions you wish the pic to be or in XP (Image > Stretch and Skew).

or XNView and its Image > Resize option.

Does it matter that it's an animated GIF? I haven't worked with GIFs (animated or not) too much, but when I open an animated GIF in MSPaint, all it shows is the 1st image of the animation 'set', and I haven't messed with XnView in a couple years, but I'll check it out.
    THANKS!

I have an old version but I use resize/resample and set the image to either a % of the previous size or specify the dimensions.
