    Hi guys.

It seems like forever ago when I installed XP on my computer. when i compressed the drive, I changed the color of the compressed drive to red ( my favorite color) I did this without any special software like tweakUI or without changing the registry values.

Unfortunately, I was recently forced to re-install XP on my desktop. In doing so, I lost the red color to my compressed drives, and the worst part is, I have forgotten how to change it from the default blue. Does anyone know how to accomplish this ?

Also, how can i cange the colors of Compressed drives in win 7. i have told the OS that i wanted to show compressed files in color, but the color is still black .

    Thanks

I'd reboot after you make the change.
