btw, how come THX and TNX mean the same thing? How lazy you gotta be to type TNX but not THANKS?

AFAIK, IIRC means As far as I know.

Tell you the most lame trunanation of a word I've come across? cnt. Short for can't, as in, can't be bothered to type properly. And I always add an extra u in it somewhere ... makes me think the person is insulting me when they say "what do you mean you cnt?".

 

i type short forms only when i text message because of the character limit. (well, sometimes i use that here as well)
stuff like: lyk=like, l8er=later, thnx= thanks, hav= have, dun= don't, y= why, ur= your/you're, ect.

so if u combine everything in a sentence, it's almost like an alien language. lol

 

I wish I could find this article...I read it a couple months back and it was about how people are getting more stupid because of the laziness in typing in text/instant messaging. Quite entertainging...
