I ran across this on another forum, so here is a link since I can't take credit for it... http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=550302

If you don't have one, spend $10 and get one. Temp probe also :drool

Good for testing those iffy PSU's.

Grumbles, it goes in your hand or on the desk. It measures the voltage of the magic smoke! And the temps of heatsinks and such.

If you are supposed to have 12 volts from the PSU, you plug in the probs, and it tells you what you have.

Here is a quick link I googled for PSU testing. I am sure there is one on MajorGeeks.com also.
