Cheap New Crucial Memory From Hong Kong, To Good To Be True?

    The feedback is very good for this Chinese seller (99%)- They do not show a sealed packet with it........The more expensive has 100% feedback, and has a crucial packet shewing.
    I have sometimes bought from china, and never had a problem. I have also bought from crucial directly.

    I guess at that price, little harm if it really is too good to be true. I have purchased things from China through ebay too but I always keep my fingers crossed. While many sellers are legit, there are many who are not. Counterfeit products are a problem - even if they do work as advertised.

    It might be they are trying to get rid of old stock - DDR2 RAM was superseded about 10 years ago.

    I took a shot. I messaged the seller and asked for some reassurance, and they said they get it directly from the factory. Still think in might be counterfeit........won't ditch the old memory just in case. Thanks, Ed
