Check for changes mades when run a .exe

I have an .exe program which is supposed to wrote something on the registry, but i don't know where it do what is supossed (in the registry or some file) so i want to hunt it down in order to know which specific key on the reg or file is being modified by this program.

So, the program i am looking for is something like regshot, which i have used to check the registry change but there was so many reg values write before and after i take the reg snapshot so i am not sure if this .exe file write on the reg or in a file.

I am working on a Windows 7 SP1 OS. Any help?

 

You can use Process Monitor (http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/microsoft_process_monitor.html) to see exactly what the process writes anywhere on your disk or registry.

You can use filtering to see only the output from the program you want to monitor.
