Hello, I started to go through the steps to post the logs but ran into a couple problems.

    1. After running ComboFix my computer clock never reverted back to the correct format.

    2. Spybot S&D won't work because it says I need to update, but whenever I try and update it says that it didn't find any new files. I tried checking the "automatically update files" option when first installing it but that wouldn't work either. It kept saying it couldn't connect.

What should I do so I can complete the steps?

You can fix your clock from Control Panel ->Regional and Language Options and then on the Regional Options tab click the Customize button then on the next form click the Time tab. Then change the Time format to what you want. It explains there what the lower case and upper case letters will do. Upper case H is giving you 24 hour clock settings.

Now you need to continue on and attach all of the requested logs if you are still having problems. Attach them to this thread since you have already started it. Also make sure you explain your remaining problems.

Hi, here are my logs. I just wanted to make sure I haven't accumulated any un-needed programs and/or spyware/adware over the past few months and that everything is looking good.

    Thanks for your time!

You are clean but we have a few minor things to do.

Uninstall the below old versions of software:
    Java(TM) 6 Update 3
Viewpoint Media Player <-- should have been uninstalled in step 0 of the READ ME
Now reboot after uninstalling the above. Then continue.

After reboot, now install the current version of Sun Java from: Sun Java Runtime Environment

Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it. This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SunJavaUpdateSched] "C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_04\bin\jusched.exe"
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [QuickTime Task] "C:\Program Files\QuickTime\QTTask.exe" -atboottime

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

    Now delete the below file.
    C:\Documents and Settings\TONY.TONY-SBWG4ZNZOA\Local Settings\Temp\dio41.tmp

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. If we used ComboFix then UNINSTALL COMBOFIX (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN
      • Now type combofix /u in the runbox and click OK.
      • Note: The space between the X and the /U, it must be there.
    2. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    3. You can delete the C:\MGtools folder and the C:\MGtools.exe file. You can also delete the C:\MGlogs.zip
    4. If you are running Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning steps in the READ ME for your Window version and see the steps to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    5. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
