what are chipset drivers and should i get new ones??

Chipset drivers enable the the hardware connected to the motherboard to be recognized and their drivers to be installed.
Yes, you can update your chipset drivers. It doesn't hurt and may help.

 

and where might i find them

You can get them from your PC manufacturer (search for your PC model) or from your motherboard manufacturer's site.

If you need help finding them:
Post a make and model # if your PC is manufactured (Dell, Gateway, HP, etc.)
OR
Use Everest to get a report of your system’s hardware, OS, and drivers. Upload the report as an attachment.

These should be what you need.
It doesn't look like you have a problem with your chipset, but this driver package may be newer than th one you have installed.

That's kind of hard to answer, not really knowing how your system is running.
If you are not having any issues, then no they probably won't help.
But, the driver version date, on the one I suggested to you, is August this year. So it is probably, more current than the one you are using. It could make some difference.
Just set a system restore point, so that you can go back, if you don't like the change.
