Included at The Rocks Choc Fest:
MR BLACK ESPRESSO MARTINI BAR - Tallawoladah Place
Mr Black is the result of a designer and one of Australia’s most highly awarded distillers coming together to make the best coffee liqueur in the world. Cold-pressed coffee from speciality beans sourced from Kenya, Colombia and Papua New Guinea is blended with pure Australian grain spirit, which allows the rich flavour of the coffee blend to shine through. Each day from 11am you can experience a Mr Black Espresso Martini for yourself or grab a Chocolate Ale brewed exclusively for the festival by Endeavour Beer.

Perfect day spent at The Rocks Chocolate Festival under blue skies sponsored by a local radio station which played great music throughout the day. Perfect setting by Sydney Harbour, nearby is the Harbour Bridge and across Circular Quay's water is the Opera House...lovely setting for a most indulgent day of chocolate delights!

Thousands turned up, everyone walking around with silly smiles savouring all the goodies with lots of samples...there was even a free wine tasting area. Managed to get through all eleven areas, checking out, sampling with the odd buys (ahem, gifts of course...yes....mmm;)).

They even had a couple of sections for savoury and sweet foods from different cultures...we didn't over indulge so we could go right through the Festival.

One regret, we missed out on the Chocolate Martini as they'd gone through all ingredients due to demand. However, at day's end, we visited a lovely old pub across the road and grabbed our martinis there. Here's a sampling of what we saw:

Oh yum! Thanks for the photos, LS! I would love one (or 3!) of those bars of chocolate in the one picture.

Glad you enjoyed the pics, would have loaded more if allowed.

Seems you’re due back to visit Down Under!:)

Fun taking the photos. Shame I couldn’t get one of the Chocolate Martini for you.

Reckon the chocolate bars you’re referring to are the ones with wine…the Shiraz and Sauvignon Blanc ones were so delicious I bought these two bars.

Was a fun day, crowd was well controlled so despite numbers, it was easy to move about and access stands while gathering samples which we took in moderation to allow us to sample as many as possible.

One “gift boxes” didn’t survive last night…my excuse was the box was damaged….so…..;)

Glad you all enjoyed the pics...you would have loved the day...something for everyone.

Yes. If you want some crunch with your chocolate why not nuts?

There was a discussion in the forums once about people's favorite brand of chocolate. I think there are some serious chocolate lovers here me included.

Totally agree...nuts and or fruits and or mueslie...

Favourite chocolates...my old favourite is the original Kit Kat (as a kid to make them last I would eat each stick by nibbling at the chocolate all around before separating each layer then nibbling each layer, piece by piece - my friends would often end up watching me slowly devouring my portions after they had gobbled theirs up whole:p) Dare I admit I still practice this habit:D upload_2017-8-16_6-41-57.jpeg
    and
the original Ferror Roche with hazelnut centre https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRsGwS1_En8QRULopBn3qH6V7uP4wFV25KUafkE0OuH5NOF4Gi4xQ
