chrome browser processes?

Hey guys and gals,
gotta question... just came across this and kinda puzzled while using chrome I was in manager and noticed multiple chrome exe. in processes tab did a quick experiment restarted pc 36 processes running. Started ie goes to 38 closed out ie back to 36! Open firefox increase to 37 close firefox back to 36. Opened chrome increases too 43 processes running!! Is this normal?? If so quick explanation please if not what should I be looking for malware spyware ect or maybe reinstallation

Normal, Chrome has a process for every Tab, Plug-in, Add-on and probably other stuff
The idea is if a Tab 'crashes' then it won't necessarily crash the browser or force you to restart the browser

Do you mean the built-in Windows TaskManager ?
Google Chrome has it's own Task Manager with more details

I also didn't know chrome had its own manager,yes I was in windows. Thanks for the heads up will check that out(chrome mgr):wave
