Chrome sound issue

    Some videos on youtube don't play audio on my Win 8 PC. I can see the meter bouncing up and down but no sound out of the speakers.

    If I paste the URL into IE it does play sound.

    Any ideas, please?

    Yes the mixer meter for Chrome shows there is sound there, but it doesn't come out the speakers. To be clear this is only for some videos, for others it works fine. Must be something to do with the type of file being played...I'm guessing.

    No this is to make it the default, not provide more permissions.
