    Hello
    As Chromebooks do not have Java, will they be able to play videos such as the ones on Comcast/Verizon homepage?

    Do you have an example video?

    Most videos do not use java at all.

    Just went to the Xfinity page and played a video. The computer does not have java installed. (Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit FF 24)
    You do have to enable a few thing in javascript, which is completely different from java.
