I don't know how I got this but I do and it's driving me crazy. I've done some searching online and tried to get rid of it but I still have a problem. The solution I found said to go open control panel, double click on add/remove programs and find microsoft office. I can get up to there and when I click the change button, nothing will happen. I get another message saying error 25090. The message tells me to go into C:\program files\microsoft office\office11\1033\setup.Chm and look for "office source engine. When I open up 1033 I can only see a setup but not setup.chm. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have moved your thread to software as this appears to be a problem with Office software.

This is for the error 25090

To fix it, put in your Office 2003 or Office 2007 CD into your drive and wait for the setup program to start.

If it doesn’t start automatically, find the Setup.exe file on the CD and run it manually. Once the setup window appears, just click Cancel. Click OK to whatever prompts come up after you click Cancel.

That’s it! Loading the setup screen fixes the corrupt setup files and allows you to open an Office program without the 25090 error!

As far as not seeing the .chm behind setup, I think you may have file extensions not showing, otherwise you see something behind setup.
