Cimarron, the littlest Caddy. (^-^)

Always liked the little guy, and came across this 30 year old article so thought I'd share.:cool 30 years ago the German car buyer would never have considered a Caddy, regardless of how good it was. Originally conceived as a BMW 320i & Audi 4000 import fighter, on basic specs Cadillac seemed to be in the ballpark, or were they?

They were awful. The only worse car was the Yugo, which had options like carpet and radio.

 

Yup . . . also yup on the Yugo. Pop can with wheels, pretty much.

 

Wow! Did the Caddy not have carpets? Don't see much Caddilacs in my country.
