Claro Search

    I am having problems getting rid of Claro Seach. the other night I had contracted "system progressive protection" malware/virus. I had searched how to get rid of it and done all of that and it seems to have disappeared but now when I open Google Chrome I get Claro Search and can't get it to go away. I have downloaded all the recommended malware programs and attaching the reports. Here's hoping I can clear this once and for all.

    Also is there a away to make sure that I am clear of the system progressive and ensure that noone is getting my passwords?

    TDS Killer had nothign to report
    HAd and error with the MG program.

    Could you elaborate on that please? Thanks.

    Download OTL to your desktop.

    • Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.
    • Vista and Windows 7 users Right-click OTL and choose Run as Administrator)
    • When the window appears, underneath Output at the top change it to Minimal Output.
    • Check the boxes beside LOP Check and Purity Check.
    • Click the Run Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.

    When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.

    Attach both of these logs into your next reply.
