Hello everyone. I'm brand new to this and have an old Revolution-X arcade that the main board stopped working. I did a little searching and found you can convert this to a multi-cade using MAME? Can anyone point me in the right direction where I can research this and figure out how to do this?

    Thank you

This is like taking a sip from a faucet the size of the ocean... where to start.. very basically download MAME, then go to the Wayback machine and search for MAME ROMs.
For premade "systems" visit ArcadePunks, read up on RetroPI, RetroArch, Batocera, LaunchBox. So many options, if you're going straight Arcade or including home consoles, really helps you focus on a frontend. MAME is basically command line, back in the Win98 days they had MAMEUI, which was an explorer like front end, now you can find many cool GUIs - LaunchBox, ES-DE. There are plenty of videos and books around too.

I built my first arcade from an old Pit Fighter cabinet 20 plus years ago, and I am still learning.

Thank you. I remember the Win98 and Win 311 days as well. I appreciate your reply and this will give me a starting point.
