I am getting this crap all over my PC. I've followed all of THEIR advice for removing it (Going through my Google Chrome extensions, and removing any that "might" be related to their junk) and I've used Revo Uninstaller to clear out all unknown programs (there were only 2) on my Dell Desktop running Win 8 Pro. I also ran Mbam, and it did find some infections and I eliminated them.

All of MY programs are up to date. I've even been in touch with them through their "support site", and sent them screen shots of my browser extensions, and my installed programs in Revo. (They haven't gotten back to me about this yet). I did do a System Restore back a few weeks, and this didn't help either. The ONLY program I've installed recently, (and Sys Restore should have taken me beyond that point) was Recuva (http://www.piriform.com/recuva), and I could swear I thoroughly checked for any add on crap that might be installed during the installation process. But, here I sit.

I've looked all over the web for help, and am tired of all these "fix-it" sites rehashing the same garbage about browser extensions and programs to delete. I DID ALL THAT FIRST. It didn't work, and I need more help than that.

    Any thoughts?

Here are the requested logs. While MGTools was running, a window opened and told me to let it finish, and then "right click and choose run as administrator". I did that, and attached the log given to you. I am still seeing this junk all over my system. In fact, as an example, now when I'm on my personal bank acct web site, and I attempt to log in to my accts, I have to enter my "Username". When I click in the box to do so, now a separate window pops open with a "survey", which NEVER happened before. I can take screen shots of these things and attach them in my next post.

Otherwise, I'll just wait for your further instructions.

Tried to run Bitdefender as requested, and it wouldn't run. Clicked on it, waited for over a minute, and nothing happened. Of COURSE there's a pop up ad running across the top of their page from some ad company. It's actually getting worse every day now. Google Chrome is MUCH slower than it was before this all happens, and several times a day I get the EXTREMELY aggravating "Whoa, Google Chrome has crashed. Restart now?" bull shit. Now, I even get some damn ad on one of the tabs that keeps playing some obnoxiously loud audio, (can't find which one), and almost ALL web pages have "redirects" on them now, so whenever I hover over, or near things on the pages, little square "pop-ups" appear and hang there for several irritating seconds.

I'm considering just uninstalling Chrome all together, and hoping that a fresh re-install wipes out whatever those piss ant pukes installed on my system to begin with. It's a pain, and a lot of work, but I'm thinking I have no other choice.

Also, I was wondering if any of the original scans that I ran in the "Read and Run me first" segment may have altered my folders settings? I have items on my desktop now, (transparent) that weren't there before.

Thanks for you patience and help! :)

If you are going to uninstall Chrome, make sure you delete these folders:

    C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome

    Then run CCLeaner.

Let me know how that goes.

Yeah, I decided to uninstall Chrome. Here's what I did. First I exported all my bookmarks as .html files and saved them to my desktop. 2nd, I used a Chrome extension to save all of my open tabs that I wanted via (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tab-snap/ajjloplcjllkammemhenacfjcccockde), and then I uninstalled it by using Revo Uninstaller instead of Microsofts' built in Uninstaller. Revo does a better job cleaning everything out for me. THEN I ran CCleaner.

After I re-installed Chrome, I just added my bookmarks, and open tabs again, and it's back to it's old self again. It's just as fast, and I don't see ANY ads from "dropdowndeals" or get any re-directs, like I had been.

    Thank You for your help.:)

    You're welcome.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:

    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    7. If you are running Win 8, Win 7, Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below to flush restore points:
      • Refer to the instructions for your WIndows version in this link: Disable And Enable System Restore
      • What we want you to do is to first disable System Restore to flush restore points some of which could be infected.
      • Then we want you to Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.

    8. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
