No, not the lizard. I have been very good about keeping my monitor clean, and haven't had to do more than dust it for the half a year I've had it. Recently, however, a friend kinda got spittle on it. It is a flat screen viewsonic, what is recommended for cleaning these. (I searched for other posts, and looked in the manual, no luck.

You can pick up a cleaning kit or individually wrapped cleaning wipes for around $5 or so at your local computer store that are made specifically for cleaning a flat panel monitor. Just make sure you follow the directions..you have to use a light touch or you can damage the screen. You also want to make sure any dust, etc. is gently removed and that you turn the wipe over (if you use the wipes) to prevent scratching.

I also find that normal lens spectacle ( glasses ) cleaner works a treat on both CRT and LCD monitors, but use a lens cleaning cloth as they are very soft.
