cleaning a pc

i did a search for this and all it brought up was cleaning spyware
its probebley been asked before but whats the best way of cleaning inside a pc?

i no theres the air in a can but the town ime liveing in is a bit behind the times and makes it hard to get hold of stuff for the pc.

ive read on some sites to use a clean paint brush but others say this will give off static electric.

 

Hehe I use use a standard vacuum cleaner with the extendable ends. I know it's probably not the best method but our new Dyson Vac. has a great brush-like end that picks up all bits of dust, really is great so you could try that. Although I'm sure there's people here who would be sitting at their computers shouting no at me

i just asked the same question a little while ago. this link is helpful. apparently it is NOT advisable to clean with a vacuum cleaner. i will wait until i go to town and buy the canned air. i suggest you do the same. aloha

 

Someone in here once mentioned placing a nylon stocking over the air intake ports on your case. I tried it out, call me gullible, and the only way I could get the stocking to stay put was by using duct tape. Since I have no desire to duct tape my computer I gave up on the idea. Compressed air, nice and steady streams, no quick burst. About once a month works for me and I have two cats. (Keep your case off the floor as this will help also).
