Cleaning out an old Laptop

I will be cleaning out my old laptop for a friend and would like to know what's the best/easiest way to accomplish this....I have Window's 7, but want to know if there is a program that will clean everything out but the x64 Windows 7 Home Premium to start all over again???? It's a Compaq laptop...Thanks, WhiteWolf

You can use Ccleaner wipe free space or look up SDelete.

If the Compaq came with 7 and you made the restore/recovery DVD, use that to get it back to factory condition. It will be just like it left the factory and the person will have to create a user account.

Ok, thanks guys...Sorry it took so long to get back to you....I already have the RevoUninstaller in the computer and CCleaner...So, Jus wondered if it would be a good idea to totally empty the computer and buy another Windows 7 Home Premium....Thanks again....WhiteWolf

Why would you buy a new copy of Windows 7, if it already has one on there? All you have to do, is a full reinstall if you wish to make it as if it was out of the box, nothing more.
