    Hi guys

I have just bought a new laptop and want to donate my Desktop to the old peoples home. I was told by a friend that if I have typed my bank account details in it will be saved on the computer somewhere obviously I dont want my bank account details getting into the wrong hands. I have also scanned in my fiancee's and my Driver's licence and passports so if we loose them we know the number. I have deleted them but am now freaking out that maybe they are still on the computer somewhere. I am a little naive and would very much appreciate some help.

    Thanks

    Kristy

if you are really worried wipe the drive and reinstall the OS.

Boot and Nuke will clean the drive so none of your info can be recovered.. then just reinstall the OS.
