cleaning user assist registry entries

    Hello, Im using Clean Cache v2.23 and was not sure if i should use that feature, i have 139 entries, is it safe? thanks =)

    Well, it's never 100% safe to remove stuff from the registry, but in my experience registry cleaners do work pretty well. I would do it, but I'd also set a system restore point if you are a windows xp user and back up your registry prior to executing the cleaner. If you don't know how to back up your registry, go to start -> run -> type regedit. Go to the file menu on the top, then then click export - type a filename and save it somewhere where you're not going to lose it! If you have any problems when you run your cleaner, I'd restore the system to the restore point you created and then restore your registry by double clicking and running your registry backup. Hope this helps.
