Clear History is not an option

I'm using Windows XP. When I select Internet Options, the "Clear History" button is gray and doesn't allow me to clear or change days of history. this is a company issued laptop. Any suggestions how to clear history?

 

Is that because the company doesn't WANT you erasing the History?
I hope not. Maybe you should ASK.

Is the Clear History button dimmed or grayed out?

Not sure the difference between dim and grey. I can see the buttons: one says "20 days" and the other "Clear History". However when i click on either, no response. I assume they don't want me deleting History. What does the "Undo" link provide?

It is a small registry file. Simply backup your registry first, run the file, reboot & see if you can get to the history.

If not just restore the registry. ERUNT is easy to backup & retore a registry if you need help doing it.

Copy & Paste this below into notepad. Save as a name.reg file. Note the extention. Right click on it & 'Merge'.
