I am the administrator of my Windows XP OS computer. my sister usually is running multiple IM programs (AIM, yahoo, msn) and leaves browser windows open. the problem is that these slow down internet speed needlessly, so i usually go to the task manager, and end all of her processes except explorer.exe. anyway, i could do that until this morning. i went to delete them, but it said access denied. why is this? (by the way, i had to pull out the plug from the computer and it did a funny load thing today. it had a blue screen and it did this file thing... there were 3 steps, step 2 had something to do with indexes.)

thank you for the programs, but i have just realized that my access has been denied. i was and still am the computer administrator, but it says "access denied" whenever i try to end or kill a process. is there any way to reallow access to myself to end processes?
