The clock displayed in the bottom right corner of my desk top did not return to the format that it was at after I ran the 'ComboFix Step' from the READ & RUN ME FIRST thread.

I found, via a google search and odd occurances with my PC that I had several infections on my PC. So I followed the steps in the READ & RUN ME FIRST Thread and was able to successfully remove all of the (know) viruses, trojans and malware from my PC.

When I got to the ComboFix step I found that the SUPERAnti-Spyware Free Edition was still running and the ComboFix stopped/locked until I right clicked on the SUPERAnti-Spyware Icon in the systems tray and exited it. Then the (text doc) reoprt came up and the 'scan' finished but the clock is still in the format that it was when the scan was running.

I openned the control panel to see if I could manually revert it back but there does not seem to be any way to change it back....?

I thought about re-running the ComboFix and though better of it when I remembered reading in the READ & RUN ME FIRST instruction not to run any part of the steps a second time, so here I am looking for help.

I am attaching the logs from my scans in hopes they will be some help.

We can change your clock....though it should revert back when we uninstall ComboFix. Nothing to worry about at this point.

What we also need is the MGLogs.zip....which will be C:\MGLogs.zip on your computer.

Oh, sure.....slip it in while I'm not looking....LOL

Give me a while to review and I will get back with you on a fix. :)

Looks like the scans took care of all of it. However, I want to remove one service:
    * Click on Start, then Run ... type services.msc into the box that opens up, and press 'OK'.
    * On the page that opens, scroll down to Emuapipaporu
    * then right click the entry, select Properties and press Stop Service.
    * When it shows that it is stopped, next please set the Start-up Type to 'Disabled'.
    * Click OK until you get back to Windows.

    * Next, run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe, but instead of scanning, click on the None of the above, just start the program button at the bottom of the choices.
    * At the lower right, click on the Config button
    * Then click the Misc tools button
    * Select Delete an NT Service
    * Copy/paste Emuapipaporu into the box that opens, and press OK
    * If you receive any error messages just ignore them and continue.
    * Now exit HJT

Now Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
Now tell me what issues you may still have.

Not that I can see, no, but my Start-up is very 'sluggish'. It is taking longer to get to my desk top and get to a point where i am able to begin using my computer.

Before I ran through the 'clean-up' I would wait about 1-1.5 minutes, now I am at anywhere between 3-5 minutes. When I open programs there is also some lag that was not there before. Could this be from the real time COMODO BOClean I installed after cleaning my PC?

It is possible ...you could use a Startup Manager

Removed items as listed and DL'd the Start-up Manager.

I looked through the list of Start up items (13 of them) and the only ones that I needed to 'disable' were 'Acrobat Assistant 7.0', 'Adobe Acrobat Speed Launcher .Ink' and Adobe Gamma Loader .Ink'.

How about the Malware Anit-Malware software, do I keep this?
I have Symantic Anti-Virus Client on this PC (can't remove - it's a work PC), Spyware Blaster, CCleaner, COMODO BOCleaner and COMODO Firewall as well as Spybot - Search & Destroy.

It might be your firewall that is slowing you down....in any event, that is a question for the software forum.

You are in a work envir. and I assume behind a firewalled router?

To reset your clock...go to the control panel / regional and language / customize / time ...and set to the format you prefer.

I would keep MalwareBytes for backup scanning. :)

Great, Thanks for all you help Tim. :celebrate

I'm gonna give it a little bit and see if the lag persists (after a couple re-boots) then post over in Software if I see continued issues.

    Thanks again!
