Clocks Back [UK]

Thanks nick I woulda forgot. Extra hour of sleep... yay! Shame its not on Monday morning, I could done with an extra hour then.

 

yea. .me too, though I am not in da UK. . . . .
I live right on the "timeline"
and the town south of me does not
odd, but I guess somebody has to be on the line. . .

have a friend who lives down there and works up here and she doesnt understand that
she leaves an hour early to get to work on time
but she gets home before she left work. . lol
its kinda funny

It's 1AM GMT yaaay

 

It's only 6:16 PM here. I'm looking forward to getting an extra hour of sleep when US falls back.

 

It makes the daylight hours easier to manage. It means most people's working day is when its light outside.

Different time zones just make it easier for people to comprehend whats going on outside and set it to a familiar set of patterns. Swatch, I belive, were trying to institute "world time". I don't think it ever took off though, I've heard from commercial pilots that it makes jet lag worse if you stay in the new timezone for too long.
