Cloverfield

Seen this one tonight ,and all I care to say is I hope JJ Abrams finds a better camera for his Star Trek movie out this Fall .

I found it to be very enjoyable, the film works on a lot of levels (including the basic "I just crapped my pants" in a few scenes), and I even thought the "Queasy Cam" was excellently used - resulting in my not getting angry at the continually oblique looks at the monster (until, of course, the big scene at the end). The sound also has Academy Award written all over it. It was fantastic!

 

I loved it, awesome movie. I had high expectations and it met them with ease. I loved how they incorporated humor into it as well, it worked really well for me.
