COD World At War Sound Not Working At All

    Hey guys
    My CoD WaW sound isnt working at all, the in-game sound the music at the start menu, nothing!
    its really weird, it was working fine untill before about christmas time, I didnt play it for ages and then bam the sound didnt work which you cant really play without :(

    Im using Windows Xp with Logitech Headphones.

    Hi

    What Service Pack level is your Windows XP at? (start > run and type Winver)

    Did you installed any update patches for this game? or do you know what the latest patch the games patched too?

    Try the 1.7 Patch HERE


    Whats your audio card used in the PC is it a dedicated card like Creative or an onboard solution from the motherboard, to help you find this info the below quick guide will help,

    service pack 3 version 5.1 and I have the 1.7 patch

    Um... I assume you've checked that the headphones are working and whether you have sound in any other applications?

    yes, all other games, moh, cod4, music, teamspeak all work fine

    So this game is the only one with a problem? Have you tried to just do a full uninstall and reinstall? Run Ccleaner or a similar app and reboot after the uninstall, to make sure every little bit goes away before you reinstall it.
