When I boot up the computer the post screen has tearing throughout the whole boot. I have a 1080p monitor, but the computer will only display 800x600; if it starts at all. When I view device manager the error code for the GPU is either 43 or 19. If I attempt to load any type of video (youtube/video games) the computer display locks up and eventually blue screens. Off and on the computer will not even load the O.S, it will just go to Nvlddmkm.sys blue screen.

I have used driversweep to remove the drive, then clean reinstalled. I have also tried the temp fix of expanding the nvlddmkm.sys file, which didn't work either. Clean O.S install did not work. Roll Back Drivers is un-clickable. I've tried another PSU. The computer temperature seems to be running fun; memtest reported 4 clean sweeps. I've also tried removing each ram stick, as well as checking them in each ram slot.

I've attached a .rar file with my recent minidump files.

This issue has happened for the past few days. Prior to the problem nothing was changed or added to the system. I've had this rig for about a year and have little to no issues.

I have also tried using older and even beta versions of the display driver with 0 luck. Lately the computer has been booting without any display at all, today it happened to give me a display.

Have you tried a different video card? Display problems during post suggests to me the issue begins before the OS and drivers load.

Its been my thinking that its the Motherboard or GPU; leaning to GPU, but no, I have no spare GPU to test with.

All the dumps are 0x116's, each one points to the nVidia driver failing to load or reset:

Thank you Satrow; the computer now boots up (still with major tearing), but does not BoD. I'm running the computer with BCDEDIT /SET VGA ON as suggested in the linked forum; yet I still have a strong feeling that the drivers are not the issues. I've tried almost all Beta's and the like from now till last year; most recently I've tried the driver release on the 17th of this month with no luck.

Checked the temperatures again and everything seems typical; I've manually adjusted the fans, as well as set them back to auto, with no difference. I'm having great trouble doing anything for the BIOS due to the BIOS screen being almost completely unreadable.

Currently running with 1 HD, the GPU (on VGA mode), and a stick of ram.

Time for you to go out and borrow a known good gfx card or buy a new one, I think.
