Im trying to play this video I took with my cellphone on my PC in windows media player. I thought this would be easy... but after finally getting the file transferred it just wouldnt play. Its a 3gp file (never heard of that video format before) A friend recommended Windows Media Codec Pack, I installed it, now the video plays but there is no sound...

    How can I get sound???

I am not sure which codec your phone uses to record with. Quicktime will generally play this file type. From my phone (LG Env3) I can play the videos with: VLC, Media player classic, Quicktime and WMP. I have been sent a few from people that I had to convert before they would play properly. I suggest downloading Media Info: http://majorgeeks.com/MediaInfo_d6346.html then open the video with this, it will tell us more about the file you are trying to view. Then others might be able to give suggestions.
