there are several on this site just do a search for codec on http://www.majorgeeks.com/search.php
There is the free Kazaa mega codec pack(17MB) or the klite codec pack(7MB)
goto google.com and type in kazaa mega codec pack. the second site listed is programs.ws. that site has the two codec packs listed above. I did not link this because the sight contains xxx banners and I did not want someone accidently clicking it and getting that filth.

to correct that. just open up windows media player. click on tools > then click options > a dialog box will appear. Click the file types tab. just click the check box next to the ones that aren't checked hit apply and ok.

Ok, well, I was gunna say that codec packs are generally a BAD idea because they don't usually run the codec installers, and so they don't install all the files that the codec would normally install, and so its a bit of a hotch poctch job. Better to just install the codecs as you need them.

But, you seem to have gone and installed it anyway, and it works, which is the main thing I guess....

This might be useful if you come into any problems :

Yep, I was gunna include it with my first post :

    AVICodec

Just right click on a video file and it will tell you what codec it uses. Very handy :)
