The University that I'm attending blocks users who soak up too much bandwidth. This includes P2P users and people that play World of War Craft. I pay for a Warcraft subscription and I would like to be able to continue playing. I'm just wondering if there is a way to make sure that they won't block me? Any help on this would be great. Thanks

You'll have to talk to the network admin there. We can't help you circumvent their security.

Graduate, move out of the dorm, and get your own net provider.

Since you pay for the subscription to World of Warcraft you should be able to fork out a few dollars more for your own connection in your dorm room (assuming this is an acceptable practice with the University). Of course, talking to the network administrator first is a good idea, maybe they have plans available on campus where you can pay so much a month and have unlimited use of the internet. Both of these ideas failing, Adrynalyne seems to have the best advice, unfortunately.

Admittedly, if the above steps fail, and you're far from graduating, an off-campus apartment, or locating an internet cafe nearby are two useful alternates.

But it's nice to see the War against Warcraft is starting to take hold.
