Combo fix Not Runnung

    Hi,
    I have this problem:the task mgr and regedit won run.
    I have been following the Clean up win XP procedurally.
    I had no probs with Super anti spyware.Initially, the spybot program wont run. Then i tried renaming it and it worked.


    The malwarebytes anti malware detects exactly the 2 things that are screwing the reg.Its asks for restart to delete.Even after restarting the taskmgr wont run. And when i scan with anti malware again the same 2 things are detected.The program is not able to delte it.I tried shutting down the anti spyware but still the prob persists.


    Ok after all this i ran the combofix..
    it simply wont start. The famous "windows encountered an error" appears.Renaming wont work


    And ya one more thing. I m downloading and transferring programs from this vista computer to the xp one.The thing in xp wont allow the pendrive to run. And guess what when i put the pendrive back in the vista computer it autoplays to open minesweeper.Can you believe that.


    Below are the log files from Super anti Spyware and malwarebytes program.
    I thought there was no point in running Mgtools..
    I have been trying since morning..

    Welcome to Major Geeks!
    Try runing ComboFix in safe boot mode. Also while in safe boot mode, run new scans with SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes and fix anything they find. Attach these new logs.

    Yes there is! Without the log from it, we cannot help you. Are you trying to say you did try to run it but it will not run at all?

    Sounds like you have multiple computers that are infected as well as a flash drive. Perhaps you email files to yourself (logs and anything else you need) and get them via email rather than an infected flashdrive.
