After I ran Combofix I received at shut down the dreaded Generic Host Process for Win32 Error and my internet and sound was gone.

Help!!!! How do I fix the problem or use the Windows Recovery to go back to an earlier version that worked.

Under whose guidance were you running combofix? That's where you go to post what happened and to be sure that you followed all the directions correctly.

    I'm Bad,

I ran Combofix with out any adult supervision. I got the idea from a blog on GeekstoGo.

I ran it both on my laptop and my office pc which acts as our server. The laptop seems to run okay, but the server lost internet connection and audio. I re-established the IP address and can get online, but without audio. The network connection seems to okay, but I can't print from my laptop when connected to the 2Wire home office DSL.
I've attached the server's Combofix Log for your review (Combofix.txt) and the Laptop's Log (ComboFix Laptop).

I would greatly appreciate any help inresolving this situation.

    Thanks,

    Bill
