I know you said that I should only use it under trainer supervision, and I've learned my lesson. But my combofix disabled almost EVERYTHING. From the internet to system restore and it won't let me get into my driver folder on windows. I'm using windows vista. And also, it disabled control panel. Thank you.

You need to attach the quarantine folder from ComboFix.

Then you are screwed. :( The only option you now have is to do a clean install.

    What's that?

You will have to do a complete reformat and clean install. Do you have your OS cd?

Oh wait I just found out that they didn't take off combofix. It's just illegal.

What is "illegal"? Do you have this:
    C:\Qoobox\Quarantine\

  9. SuperMan5

Yes and illegal means that it won't let me use it and a pop up comes up saying that I can't use it.

Oh... um... That's kind of a problem because I'm using a different computer.

Save it to a thumb drive or a cd. Then transfer it to your computer and attach it.

I gave you a link on how to attach items to your posts. What I want is the entire C:\Qoobox\Quarantine folder. If it is too large to attach, you may need to zip it and then attach it.

Yeah it's just that it won't show up in the upload box but I'll reread it.

You will have to hit browse and find the folder.

  22. SuperMan5

    SuperMan5 Private E-2

Yes but it won't put the file in the text box.

When you click on browse, it will open a window on your computer. Then find the folder and click open. That should put the folder into the upload box. Is that not happening?

This is the message you are seeing? Just reboot the machine, and all will right itself.

Set mine off too Tim, not taking the chance and have removed it as do not wish any of our members to click on it, I opened it in a VM and flagged up in my AV as it was a virus file.

    Not impressed!

@SuperMan5 please follow instruction to the letter and if you cannot do this find a relative or friend that can as I will remove you from the forum if you attach malware files again, as that was not the folder that TimW asked to be attached.

A certain thing! the exact location was posted of the folder to attach as in C:\Qoobox\Quarantine folder that cannot be more clear, if you cannot do this then ask a reletive or friend whos PC savvy to assist you, we wish to help but you're not making this easy.

Do attach that excat folder in a zip file.

To anyone viewing this tread so be warned that the attachements may contain malware so you open and your own peril, myself and other malware removal experts here at MG use VMs alot so sandbox ourselves from most of the issues, but you may not.
